NOT WATER started with a college student, a can seamer, and some picky taste buds. 

There was a simple problem: nothing on the market was checking all of the boxes. Throughout college, founder Caitlin Murphy, scavenged the shelves for something that fit her needs. A canned drink that was non carbonated, low in calories, vodka based, all while being affordable, packing a punch and tasting delicious. 

When nothing was found she decided to make it herself.

With the purchase of a can seamer and a bulk order of blank aluminum cans, Caitlin began creating what would become NOT WATER. She walked around her college campus with her unlabeled silver cans which sparked curiosity at each party. Friends would stop and ask “What are you drinking?” One sip later and they were hooked. The response was almost always the same: 

“I’d buy that.”

Challenge accepted. 

What started as a personal solution turned into an opportunity to create something unlike anything on the market. After months of flavor development, research, and testing Caitlin decided to devote her time towards bringing NOT WATER to life.

The mission was simple: create the ready to drink cocktail everyone wished existed. 

NOT WATER is designed for people who want a drink that’s easy to enjoy without compromising. It’s non carbonated, low calorie, zero sugar, vodka based, clear and colorless, and did we forget to mention it tastes great. 

NOT WATER is everything you want in a canned cocktail and none of what you don’t. It may look like water, but it’s NOT WATER. Refreshing, different, and made for good times without the bloat or BS.

What is NOT WATER?

NOT WATER is a 9% ABV flavored vodka water made with real gluten-free vodka derived from corn. That’s double the alcohol of traditional canned cocktails, meaning one can of NOT WATER is equivalent to two traditional RTDs. With zero sugar, zero dyes, zero gluten, zero bubbles, and zero BS, NOT WATER delivers bold flavor without the carbonation.
